holidayslaughter is an emo project led by scarlet valentine & ridley mallory. songs consist of edgy animation meme synth on top of MIDI drums and distorted 808s with "cringe" media samples, inspired by genres such as darkwave, witch house, hardstyle, IDM, etc. subject matter consists of queer love and anguish, mental instability, neurodivergence, online escapism, and artistry itself, created with the goal of promoting self acceptance and expression.
